Aharef Web Site Art Game
I found this innovative website art game a little while ago. It creates a work of art, or a "graph" out of any website. Here's how it works. Go to the website as art site, enter the web address of your favorite website, then watch the painting (or "graph") grow right before your eyes. You can do this over and over. Watch out, it can grow to be addicting!
For techies, the painting is color coded, and each color means something else in Internet programming:
- blue for links
- red for tables
- green for the DIV tag
- violet for images
- yellow for forms
- orange for line breaks and block quotes
- black for links and root directory
- gray all others
This game was not the first representation of Internet images with line and spoke arrangements. This image is a visualization of various routes through a portion of the Internet:
